What can I do for you

Ellen is a senior associate in our family team. She specialises in children law and financial arrangements following relationship breakdown. The Legal 500 describes Ellen as "one to watch, with notable expertise in children disputes and national fertility law work ... she is showing great promise in her ability to analyse cases and give clear advice to clients."

What do others say

Clients say:

"You have always gone above and beyond the call of duty to be there for me and I’ll be forever grateful.”

“Ellen made me feel empowered at a time when I would otherwise have felt lost.”

Described as "one to watch" by Legal 500,  Ellen was shortlisted for the Rising Star Award at the Resolution Awards 2022.

Supporting your ambitions

Ellen is motivated, energetic and highly organised. She is committed to understanding each individual client and uses her knowledge and personality to help get them where they want to be. Ellen's deliberately diverse practice ensures clients can benefit from her advice and expertise on a range of issues they and their families may face.

Ellen's children work frequently involves complex issues such as serious allegations of domestic abuse, internal and international relocation applications and disputes between parents on medical, cultural and religious issues. She is increasingly instructed in international child abduction cases in the High Court, and has a developing surrogacy practice.

A significant element of Ellen's divorce and matrimonial finance cases are those involving non-matrimonial assets, pre and post-nuptial agreements, non-disclosure and/or international assets.

While Ellen has significant experience of both litigation and negotiation, she strives to minimise conflict and to support her clients in reaching an agreement where possible.

What else should you know?

Ellen truly cares about community and supporting others. She sits on Resolution's Wellbeing Committee and is the immediate past co-chair of the National Committee of Young Resolution. Ellen also delivers workshops on family law to aspiring lawyers of school age and volunteers with legal charities.

She is an accomplished cellist, saxophonist and singer (though not all at once!).
